Views on the ground

The people of Kilburn are heartbroken. Here’s what they think:

So great to see people standing up for the things they love in their local communities.

Unbelievable! Love that theatre! Grew up around there and have seen some brilliant shows there!

I have been using the Tricycle since it was founded. Everyone I speak to is baffled by the change, to a name that makes no sense.

Tricycle. It’s a legend.

People all over the world, never mind London, know the Tricycle.

It should revert to Tricycle with its long and illustrious history.

I’m not upset, I’m broken hearted.

Kilburn has an identity and the Tricycle is part of that identity.

I can’t understand why the name was changed. The original name was far better and people knew it by that name for years.

I rarely protest publicly – this is an unfamiliar foray into beating my breast but I feel offended and ignored, it’s personal. As a gesture I have unsubscribed from their mailing list.
